Up for sale is a Sony ICF-5500W AM-FM-PSB Band radio. Tested and Working on AM-FM! Only one weak station on the PBS band, AM-FM was fine! Comes with operational Manual and earphone, Nice Top Strap as shown, but not original. Dial Light, Battery Indicator, Squelch , Signal Meter, Antenna is fine and pops up and locks in place as it should However the top of the antenna has a replacement tip, nicely done see pictures, Changes bands fine, but heard only one weak station on the PBS band. Volume-Tone. AFC brings in the FM signals. Battery compartment is clean, and the battery compartment bottom plate locks into place just fine. Front Sony Logo is missing, see pictures. More from the retired broadcast engineer collection and like his other radios, wrapped in a bath towel to keep it clean and dust free. Batteries are NOT included. Cosmetic condition is very clean overall with nominal surface scratches from age and use.
Dial Light, Battery Indicator, Squelch , Signal Meter, Antenna is fine and pops up and locks in place as it should
However the top of the antenna has a replacement tip, nicely done
