Shortwave Listener's Antenna 100' SWL-2 Economical Great 4 Receiving DX Signals

Description

This sale is for a new Spi-Ro Manufacturing SWL-2 shortwave antenna that we acquired as part of the remaining inventory from Gilfer Shortwave.  The store closed in the mid 1990's and so this antenna is about 25 years old and appears to be in wonderful condition as if manufactured yesterday with the exception of the opening in the plastic bag.
This is a "receive only" antenna made from heavy duty components and thus built to withstand many years of operation in grabbing signals.  According to the Spi-Ro Company website:
The SWL-2 is a 100 foot long Antenna, made of 14 gauge CopperClad Antenna Wire.
35 feet of insulated Lead-in wire is provided to run to the receiver
25 feet of support rope is also provided supporting the far end of the antenna
Factory assembled, insulators and instructions are included
Works with all receivers
Economical, simple, very effective receiving antenna
