Let me start off by saying I know very little about this piece of equipment. It appears to be a National HRO receiver built in 1940, probably for the military. It is type 47162 covering 14.0-30.0 megacycles. After looking online I found a catalog of HRO models from the thirties and forties and I saw one very similar to this and it was called the HRO Junior. National provided a lot of equipment for the military during WWII and I think this was probably made for them because of the front panel for rack mounting and the front drawer having the tabs for easy access. This one is in pretty good condition considering it's age. If nothing else it certainly is a piece of history. If anybody out there is familiar with this unit please enlighten me about it. As you can probably guess this unit is big and heavy so shipping will not be cheap. I have no control over this. It will double box it to insure safe delivery. I always offer local pickup.
