Description
Up for sale is a Hallicrafters SX-71 Shortwave Receiver. This is a general coverage receiver has main ranges: .538-1.65, 1.6-4.8, 4.6-13.5, 12.5-35 and 46-56 MHz. Bandspread: 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 14-14.4 and 27-30 MHz. Requires speaker. Features include: Ľ" Headphone Jack and S-Meter, Antenna Trimmer, Sensitivity, Tone, Dial Lamp, Hinged Top Cover, Mute Terminals, Standby, Phono Input, BFO and ANL. Previous owner of this radio has recapped it at some point. Cabinet overall looks good showing but does have scratches and paint chips. Chassis does show signs of oxidation and other signs of use over time. Face of the radio is in good condition with no chips to the display or wear marks on the knobs and lettering.
Please review PICTURES and VIDEO IF provided as it’s the actual item you are getting. NO TEST EQUPIMENT IS INCLUDED IN SALE. I have listed this as parts not working but have provided a video of what I can get it to do. This comes from a SMOKE FREE shack. Why I list my items for parts not working. I don’t know your knowledge of equipment. I have had a few occurrences in the past where I’ve put items on in good faith only to have them take some of the stuff off and return it to me in not working condition. This is why I have to list things this way.
