    Description

    Very Nice Drake R8 Shortwave AM SSB Ham Radio Communications Receiver. The only thing missing is the little elevator feet on the bottom - a typical thing to go on these.  This is the R8 version, not R8A, or R8B.  Everything works as it should.  I'm new to SW radio's and thought it would be fun to play around with.  Bought a loop antenna and got it working.  Unfortunately there is terrible SW capability in the local Seattle area - or Northwest in general.  So, I have an expensive AM radio that gets local stations crystal clear.  Also, have the Drake MS4 speaker for sale if interested and posted on Ebay.  It works too with the plug adapter.  Speaker sold separately.
