  • Condition: This is a used Collins PTO manufactured purchased from Fair Radio Sales for the T195 / GRC19 equipment. IT was sold as checked & okay but I have not tested it. Purchased for a DYI project that life had me redirected from :-). I found the seal on the PTO housing broken indicating it was serviced or perhaps adjusted for age. I do not know and I have no way to testing this nor evaluating it electronically. Physically it looks great, just as it came from FAIR. Please see the pictures and ask any questions NOW before the sale ends.

    Item For Sale:
    One (ea)
    Collins Radio PTO Model 70H3
    for the Collins T195 /GRC19 equipment.  This was an SK's spare and was either serviced or from the depot or just looked at the curious who could not resist the intrusion.  It looks like it is complete and a direct swap for an existing T195 PTO.  It came from FAIR Radio as tested.

    The 70H3 PTO tunes 1.5 mHZ to 3.0mHZ.  Voltage requirements are 12.6VAC filament, 150VDC plate voltage.   If you are planning an HBR receiver and can work with this tuning range, the Collins PTO is a good choice as it sports good linearity and is very stable.   In the picture section, courtesy of K2IJY, are the schematic, power lead identification & picture of his PTO's on an HP spectrum analyzer.  This PTO should be similar.
