This Active Antenna Amplifier uses a FET Transistor to boost the signal with
almost no load felt by the antenna.
It's comparable to adding 40 to 60 foot of Antenna Wire to your shorter existing Crystal Radio Antenna
During my tests, stations that were weak and scratchy came in with amazing results (even when using a 40 -foot wire antenna and an antenna tuner). Depending on the circuit of your radio, the added gain may be as much as 100 %.
